Born and raised in North Carolina, Emily Caroline Sartin is an award-winning photographer and videographer.

Emily is currently senior editor on the visual media team for Texas A&M University’s Division of Marketing & Communications. She studied journalism and global studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC-CH, she served as co-photo editor of The Daily Tar Heel, photographer for UNC Global Storytelling, photographer for UNC Media Hub, and president of UNC NPPA. Her work has been recognized by the Lone Star Emmys, The Telly Awards, the Society of Environmental Journalists, and College Photographer of the Year.
